Minutes of Business Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 4:35 PM by President Russ Kaufman.

Prayer was participated in by those present at the call to order.

Men present: Mike Calvin, Jeff Conolly, Russ Kaufman, Bruce Long, Pete Pack, Leonard Smith.

The Minutes of Sept 16, 2005 were read by Secretary Bruce Long.  The date for today's meeting was corrected to read 2006 instead of 2005.  The corrected minutes were approved.  MSC: Conolly, Pack.

The financial report was given by Treasurer Mike Calvin who handed out a printed report.  The balance was $535.14.

The late Ken Tice was the statutory agent for the Arizona Regional of IFCA International.

MSC (Pack, Conolly) that Mike Calvin be appointed Regional Statutory Agent to succeed Ken Tice.

Jeff Conolly spoke of the necessity of a closer relationship between the IFCA extension agencies (i.e. Southwest Bible Church Mission) and the regional.  Extended discussion including personal examples and ideas followed.

The fall regional date and place were discussed.  John Summers had sent word via Bruce Long inviting the Regional to Calvary Bible Church, Flagstaff.

MSC (Calvin, Long) that the Regional meeting take place September 22, 2006.

MSC (Long, Conolly)  that the Calvary Bible Church, Flagstaff, invitation be accepted..

MSC (Calvin, Long) that the meeting be adjourned.  (5:30 PM)
